Davis's First Birthday

Davis turned one Sunday, September 21st! He had a great day- I made him banana pancakes for breakfast, he went to church, and then he went to his birthday party. He had a great time at his party seeing family and eating hot dogs and cake!

Hi everyone! I know that it has been a long time since I've updated, but Davis is 10 months now and is everywhere! We are having a blast being at home together this summer, but the tears are going to start flowing as we near Friday and I return to work!

Favorite new toy

I don't know why I buy new toys anymore- Davis is perfectly happy with a laundry basket! He loves to throw his ball in and get it out. He also has started pushing one around the room (I'm afraid he's going to take his first steps any day now ): and in this picture, Davis is being pushed around the room by Ryan!

Davis has just woken up in this picture! That is about the only time of day that I get hugs anymore because he is so busy!

Summer Fun

Davis and I have been having a blast this summer! We've been playing in jello and playing with his new outdoor water toys!

Davis has started really pulling up on things and moving around them. He loves it and goes straight for the coffee table whenever I put him down. The other picture is of him waving!

Davis got his first tooth last week! You can barely see it peeking through on the bottom center right!

These clementines are Davis's new favorite toy. They are just the right size for him to hold. I thought he would be fine just gumming them, but he got one open the other day and had orange in his mouth, so we've had to cut back on cutie time!

Davis is crawling!

Davis started crawling last week! He has been up on all fours rocking back and forth for about a month and he took off last Wednesday. Today, he is really getting fast, and I am having a hard time keeping up with him. He also likes to do some yoga poses while he is crawling- here is a picture of him practicing downward facing dog!

Easter

The Easter Bunny came to see Davis! He loved his Easter basket, his bunny ears, and playing with family on Easter!

We went to Wye Mountain today to take pictures of Davis in the daffodils! He will be 6 months next week and is sitting up and up on all fours rocking back and forth! I think he will probably take off crawling any day now!
